The making of a 3-D Art Construction is very labor-intensive hand work by the artist:
-First an original painting is created in either acrylic or oil paints.
-The painting is then scanned to make a high resolution digital file (Some files are over 300 MBs in size!) to make ready for printing.
-A Giclée print on archival paper is made of the original acrylic or oil painting. Each Giclée print is created with archival inks on archival paper.
-Then, depending on the final work of 3-D art, a second (or more) Giclée print on archival paper is created.
-With this second print certain sections are cut out and then carefully mounted approximately 1/5 inch (5 mm) or more on top of the first print, giving the print a unique raised, 3-D effect.
-The 3-D Art Constructions are signed, dated and numbered by the artist.
Finally the 3-D Art Construction is put in a frame behind glass and a white mat.
All work is done by hand.

A limited edition artwork is produced in a deliberately limited quantity. Each item in the edition is numbered (e.g.,1 of 25, 2 of 25, etc.), signed and dated. The limited size of the edition is strictly controlled and enhances the value of each piece.
